Locked-down browser

VigiAcces is a dedicated application that takes control of the workstation for the duration of the exam: mandatory full screen, blocking of unauthorized applications and processes, focus-loss detection and screen-capture protection. Any attempt to leave the exam environment is detected and logged.

Identity verification

The candidate's registration is validated by SMS code, and their identity is confirmed with an ID document and a photo before they can access the assessment. The organization stays in control: the final decision on a doubtful identity always rests with a human.

Workstation qualification

Before the exam, candidates check their own workstation: camera, microphone, connection and software environment. This autonomous pre-check reduces stress on exam day and eliminates most technical problems before they occur. A proof of qualification is sent by email.

Room scan

Using their phone, candidates film a sweep of their exam room. The video is added to the exam session record and can be reviewed by the proctor.

Captures during the exam

Depending on the proctoring profile chosen by the organization, VigiAcces captures the webcam, the screen and the audio during the exam session. Media files are uploaded securely and hosted in Canada. Proctoring profiles are configurable: each organization sets the level of supervision appropriate to its assessments.

In-session support

The candidate is never left alone: a two-channel chat connects them to the proctor, and a help agent immediately answers technical and process questions, governed by strict per-session guardrails. Less stress for the candidate, fewer interruptions for the proctor.

Incident log

Every significant event — focus loss, forbidden process, leaving full screen — is logged with its context in the exam session record. VigiAcces detects and documents; it never penalizes automatically. Humans judge, based on a complete record.
